Thoughts at will....

So I thought I would just get on here and really just say or speak what my heart is screaming. Its really easy to go through this christian walk with a mindset that you have to earn your salvation. Let me put it this way so so so many of us can find ourselves getting discouraged to the point of wanting to quit because of our screw ups and mess ups, because as christians we hate when we mess up at least we do if we are truly seeking after God. So what happens is we fall, fail, screw up and quit or walk around with this defeated mindset. What I would tell you is we must understand the True Gospel. The true gospel of Jesus Christ. He came lived our perfection in every aspect of his life being God in the flesh, took on all the imperfections and the weight of sin for all of mankind and died a death that he didnt have to in order for us to be justified not by any of our works but by the blood of Jesus Christ. The fact of the matter is we are dirty and sinful and we are always going to be, that is until we pass on and go home. I dont mean to qoute guys you may not know but a really legit christian rapper named Street Pastor says it like this "I am a nobody till Im up in heaven lookin down at my old body". So with that being said we and i definetly use the word we cant let our sin to get in the way of our worship. Its like a wise man once told me. This sin should show you how filthy you are and reveal to you the fact that you need a saviour. It should push you closer to the cross of Christ. because the beautiful thing about the gospel is not we do and we get. Its He did and we get. Christ is so awesome. This definetly does not mean that this is our justification to sin. Its like Paul said in Romans 6 "shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound, absolutely NOT!" but what we must understand is he is speaking of a heart that is unrepented a heart thats not weaping and praying and running to Christ. But when our sin breaks us and leads us to him that repentance. and Christ dwells. And thats the Gospel. Be encouraged keep fighting and keep pushing toward the cross at all cost. Let nothing get in the way of Jesus. NOT EVEN YOURSELF! Love you guys

Pushing Forth The Gospel In This Nation

Well.... I will start this blog off saying that this is very hardcore but needs to be heard by so many Christians. Right off the bat i will say that I am not some self righteous guy just looking to rip everybody down, I am just a guy that wants to see Jesus Christ do explosive things in this nation. Understanding that I am working on these things as well.
Well... Here we go, so since I have been a Christian and as i study my bible I have always prayed Jesus do something amazing in this nation, spread your word amongst your people we need to hear it, we are so lost as a nation. That would always be my prayer, and i would say God whats it going to take for your spirit to in a sense just wreck shop in this nation. And i had heard it before but as I have been growing in Christ I am hearing it more and more and its starting to make more and more sense. I felt him say "its going to take my people that call themselves my people to stop focusing on themselves and focus on me", and that may sound so typical but what i mean by that is "my people focus so much on the things that they have and not the things that they can give away" as Christians why is it that we are so focused on the things that we can receive rather than the things that we can give away. Let me just give some scripture to show you what I am saying right here because its like Paul sayed in 1 Corinthians 1:17 I do not come with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. So i am just going to show you some things that took place biblicaly in the church. And just as a bullet before i go there if you read your bible its so easy to that in the gospels and in the letters that Paul wrote that the church was EXPLODING!!! It never stopped growing. Why is this you might add its because they were constantly giving up of themselves constantly giving up there goods, giving up their lives and not just because but they were doing it to show Christ real. To show Christ to other people. Just like in the book of Acts 2:45 when they were selling all of there goods and distributing them to people who were in need. THIS IS WHY THE CHURCH GREW.
I don't even have enough space to get into the whole thing but read the whole 9th chapter in 1 Corinthians and see what Paul is talking about, when he is saying give up your rights so that the kingdom of God can be pushed forward. I heard i wise man say this and it has stuck with me it is so ironic that we think that in this nation we are so blessed we think the church here is so amazing and we tend to get arrogant in that, but he said its so ironic that "the biblical church was started off so small and made a HUGE impact, and in America we have some of the biggest Churchs that make little to no impact". Even overseas right now there are people who are having their rights taking away, giving up their rights and the church is moving so rapidly. But us... we just go to church on Sunday, Wednesday, bible studies, minister to people here and there. BUT then we go home to our 2 story houses and our 7 Televisions 3 cars and say that we are just blessed. All Christians would agree that we are called and meant to be like Christ, but isn't it ironic that we preach a gospel about a man who was sacrificed yet we have little to no sacrificing in our lives. Isn't it ironic that we preach a gospel about a man who was uncomfortable his entire life, yet all we seek is being comfortable. I fear that we can get so caught up in thinking that it is just the blessings of God and that someone would say we don't have to go through that kind of suffering because Jesus already did that. and I would say read 1 Peter 4 were Peter says to prepare yourself to take on the same things that Christ did. Read Galatians 2:20 were it says I am crucified with Christ. We totally take out of context the Crucifixion. The Crucifixion was to save our souls from hell, but alot of times we think that it was to make our lives on earth comfortable. That's not the case because if it was what would you do with all of my on fire for God Christian friends that live in Guatemala or South Africa or Indonesia where they go through persecution on a daily basis.
We get so caught up in our material things. We don't spend money for the sake of the gospel, yet we spend money on making our homes bigger and just saying its the blessings for God.
Since when did blessings become about possessions and money. My bible says you are blessed when you are persecuted for the sake of the Gospel. Once again if you know me I am not a guy seeking to be beaten or to have my hands cut off, if it happens then it happens and i will take it on. But that's not what I am trying to say, I am just a guy who wants to see the true worshipers(what we put our worth in) rise up, because that's when the church is really going to go forward.
The church grew when people give themselves up for Jesus, Because outsiders truly see God in that. Overseas when i was in Guatemala people give there lives for other people to see Jesus known, the willingness to give up all that they had for people just overflowed through that place, but most of us in America we so easily make it about us. When the TRUE Gospel is taking Care of the orphans and widows. But rather than spending money on helping elderly, rather than spending money on sponsoring a kid overseas or better yet helping out with some orphans in this nation we want to get that bigger television that better car or that bigger house and we say that its the blessings from God. When in actuality the gospel is world wide which means it means the same things everywhere. So how can blessings mean money and stuff over here if in other countries they don't have those things. Are they not blessed? YES! they are blessed, we have just made the scriptures mean what we want it to. Also how can you say that a blessing from God can stop you from doing what his word has called you to do, its not supposed to you are blessed to be a blessing. I believe it was John the Baptist that said If you have 2 coats don't look at them and say "Yes I have two coats, but rather give one away to someone in need". And we can read that and love it, but understanding that if we bring that in modern day terms it is speaking of all of our possessions. All of our wealth. I really believe that Jesus is going to do something huge in this nation. But i believe that the Body of Christ will Truly become explosive when Gods people truly give of themselves and give up their lives, and give of themselves.
I love every single one of you that reads this
Until next time.

One Way To The Pearly Gates

So i have been thinking alot about this constant conflict in the world. That is "Is Jesus Christ the only way to heaven." People ask me this question all the time, asking "How are you so sure that its not what is true for you is true for you, and what is true for me is true for me?" Which is relative truth. Half the time the people that are asking me this do not even know it is relative truth. In fact they don't know anything about what they so called "believe". They are just basing it on one person who has messed them over or worse on the beliefs of a parent or friend without them diving into it themselves. Anyway that is another blog that will be up soon.
So they ask me this and some times I will say, well aside from everything else that makes Jesus real and makes him the only way. Aside from the fact that he was crucified, and aside from the fact that historically (which means it is in your history books) it says that the tomb of Jesus was empty(hallelujah i might add). Aside from all those things all you have to do is look at the fact that Christ followers are the most persecuted group of people in the world. And the thing is we are OK with that.
I was once told "if you don't truly believe in something than you wont die for it" or "if you are not willing to die for something than you are not truly living for it". And it always seems like every time you bring up Jesus people are so quick to talk about you, make fun of you, etc. Even sometimes take physical abuse into there own hands. Now you might think I'm crazy like some kind of urban misfit...(That one was for my brother in the faith Lecrae) but seriously you might think I am just paranoid or crazy. I would say to you in America these things don't take place as outwardly and as massive as in other nations, but if you travel and take a trip overseas to any middle eastern country those places are littered with persecution. Even to the point to where it is illegal and you will be killed if they find you with a bible. Things that in the west we are so blind and numb to. Blind and numb to the fact that there are martyrs all over the world dying for the sake of Jesus Christ every single day. People who allow there kids to be thrown off walls as babies, to allow your wife to be raped and killed, to allow your son to be beaten. All because they wont deny that Jesus is real. Not to mention that their kids and wife would be mad at them if they were to deny Jesus, because of the fact that they believe as well.
Now you might call a person like this stupid in the eyes of the world and they would say right back to you read 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, though you may not believe in the bible he would be showing you what he believes.
So to make it plan these people want to go through these things for Jesus. But like I said we are so blind to the things that go on in the middle east. So my question to a person that doesn't believe that Jesus is the only way or does not believe in Jesus at all would be. What do you believe in? and if what you believe in does not give you the strength to be willing to die for it than maybe you do not really believe in that. Now I am not talking about dying for it in the instance of killing other people like some kind of suicide bomber. I am talking about taking on persecution for what you believe in yourself, and the reason for that is because it truly shows Christ to be real when you are willing to give up those kind of things for him, which I would also tell you to go and read Romans 8:18-25. So to every college professor and college student that doesn't think Christ is real, to all you Darwinism believers, to all you relative truth believers, to all you Christ bashing atheist. I want to see you walk to a man from Turkey who has lost his family, his right hand and is sitting in a fogged up dark watery dripping prison look him dead is his dilated pupils and tell him Jesus Christ is not real. But if you are not willing to allow your baby to be thrown of a city wall, to allow your daughter to be killed, to allow your son to be beaten, to allow your wife to be raped and killed, and for you yourself to be flogged and persecuted for what you believe in. Then Shut up!!! Sit down and keep studying things out and stop talking about things you don't fully understand.
Please know I speak all of these things with all the kindness and passion that is inside of my heart
Love you all
